That 70’s Halter is a retro inspired 70’s style knitted top. It was made for breezy summers and festival style wear, imagine wide leg pants and balmy nights. Choose from flower power or retro strips for your design.

That 70's Halter Top is an advanced beginner pattern and is worked back and forth from the bottom up, beginning at the hem and working up to the desired length. The fronts are worked one at a time. The button-band is then picked up and worked back and forth along the fronts, with options to work a collar. Stitches are also picked up along the back and worked in ribbing. Charts of the daisy and 70's wave design are included to work in duplicate stitch to your piece.

20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch, on 4.5 mm [US 7] needles

Sample made in size XS with Wool and the Gang Shiny Happy Cotton (100% Cotton, 142 metres/155 yards, 100g), in the colour Lime Crush.
