9 sts and 12 rows = 1 inches / 2.5 cm in 2x2 rib on 3 mm [US 2.5] circular needles, Block your knit and keep it at a relaxed stretch. 

 

Suggested Needles

  • 3mm [US 2.5] , 10 inch / 27 cm, circular needles.
  • 3mm [US 2.5] double pointed needles for the crown shaping.

The sizes below are the final measurements for the beanie circumference.

Measure around your kitty’s head at the circumference, below the ears and above the eyes. Choose your beanie size based off this. Please note that 2x2 rib is stretchy and accommodating, so if you are between sizes, you can size down.
