POSTAL ADDRESS AND EMAIL

Always take care to ensure that you give the correct postal address and email address in your order. If the email address you provide is incorrect, you will not receive an order confirmation.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Delivery

Digital Orders will be sent as PDF-files to your email right away. Always take care to ensure that you give the correct email address in your order.

After purchase, the file is available for download in the Order Confirmation page. You will automatically receive the standard order confirmation email, followed by an email containing a link to the file.

  • This link will expire 24 hours after the purchase.

Right of cancellation for digital products
When purchasing digital products/patterns, you agree upon checkout that there are no refunds on any digital products/patterns/downloads.

 

PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Physical products will be shipped with Australia Post. Items will be shipped twice a week during workdays (Monday-Friday), AEST to allow your orders to be sent within 48 hours. All items are delivered using standard shipping. If you need your order sooner, please send me an email to hellofridayknits@gmail.com to ensure you receive your order on time.

Domestic Shipping Domestic orders are sent via Australia Post.

Express Post is extra depending on location. If your order is urgent, please contact me so we can ensure you receive your item on time. Signature is not required on delivery.

To combine postage, please contact me and let me know the items you would like to combine to get an accurate quote.

Orders will be shipped twice a week, not including public holidays.

Orders which are received during the weekend are shipped on the first coming workday (Monday-Friday).

Holidays and public holiday may cause longer delivery times.

 

International Shipping

International orders are sent as standard shipping via Australia Post. International shipping takes 3 -10 working days from Australia to your door. Tracking is only available with some international destinations.

Once your order arrives in the destination country, it is passed onto your local courier service. The same tracking number applies.

Damaged Orders

We understand that receiving a damaged package is an inconvenience, and we want to assure you that we take this matter seriously. However, we'd like to clarify that in the event of a damaged package, the responsibility lies with the carrier that handled the shipment. For domestic orders, please follow the steps at Australia Post’s website. For international orders, you can look at the Australia’ Post website, or your local carrier’s website for compensation claims.

While we make every effort to ensure your order is packed securely and with the utmost care, we cannot control how the package is treated during transit. Therefore, we kindly request that you follow these steps in the unlikely event that you receive a damaged package:

  1. Document the Damage: As soon as you receive the package, please carefully inspect it for any visible signs of damage. If you notice any damage to the package itself, take clear photographs before opening it.

  2. Inspect the Contents: After documenting the external damage, open the package and inspect the contents. If any items inside are damaged or missing, document them with clear photographs as well.

  3. Contact the Carrier: To initiate a claim for the damaged package, you should contact the carrier that delivered the shipment. They will guide you through the claims process and may require the photographs you've taken.

  4. Notify Us: Although the responsibility for the damaged package lies with the carrier, we are here to assist you in any way we can. Please reach out via our contact form or at hellofridaykits@gmail.com, (please allow 48 hours for a response).

We value your business and are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue to the best of our ability. However, please understand that the carrier's policies and procedures will govern the claim process.

Condition of Returned Products

The customer bears the responsibility for any reduction in value of returned products, caused by any handling beyond what is necessary to determine the type, use and function of the product. This means that you may only test the product in the same way you would if shopping in a brick-and-mortar store.

If the product has been handled beyond what is described above, it will be considered used and thus of reduced value. This means that only a small percentage or none of the purchase price will be refunded. Friday Knits alone evaluates the condition of returned items.
