The Fleurie Top is worked from the bottom up, beginning with the hem and working to the underarms. The fronts and back are separated and worked separately to form the back yoke and front shaping and straps. The straps are seamed using a mattress stitch, giving it a clean and finished look. The lace pattern is worked throughout in pattern for a fun and flowy summer knit.

This pattern uses the following techniques: knit, purl, increases and decreases, lace stitches, working buttonholes, seaming mattress stitch, binding off.

19 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm [US 7] needles

Suggested Needles

• 4.5 mm US 7 circular needles 32/40 inches / 80/100 cm or size to obtain gauge.

• 4.5 mm crochet hook to work the crochet chain.
