The Daisy Chain Top and Dress is a cute little take on daisy chains and takes its inspiration from the classic daisy chain flowers, known for their simplicity and timeless appeal. The design captures the essence of these charming blooms, making it a truly unique and eye-catching piece.This is an advanced beginner level knitting pattern.

The daisy chain dress/crop is worked from the top down, starting with the flowered pattern, then continuing down to the waist where the piece is shaped. From here you can customise and choose to keep as a cute summer crop or continue down and work as a dress. Shaping occurs around the waist and hips and is then worked down to the desired length, finishing with the flower pattern at the hem.

This pattern uses techniques such as the daisy pattern (video tutorial), knitting in the round, left and right leaning decreases.

16 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch, on 5 mm [US 8] needles

Dress: 3 (3) 3 (4) 4 (4) 5 (5) skeins required of the main colour, and 1 skein of the contrasting colour, made in size XS in the colours ‘Light Yellow’ and ‘Natural’.

Crop: 1 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) skeins required of the main colour, and 1 skein of the contrasting colour, made in size XS in the colours ‘Green’ and ‘Salmon Pink’
