Bustier A Move was one of those designs where the name came before the idea, and I just had to create a pattern out of it. With the signature sweetheart neckline and button up front, this is a take on a bustier

Bustier A Move is worked from the top down, beginning with the bust cups and then joining for the body. The piece is worked back and forth in pattern until the desired length is reached, with the hem and neckline seamed down. Straps are picked up and worked on double pointed needles in double stockinette.

Techniques

This pattern uses the following techniques: knit, purl, decreases, i-cord bind off, short rows.

Gauge

18 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch, on 4.5 mm [US 7] needles

Suggested Needles

• 4 mm [US 6] double pointed needles for straps. (metal needles)
• 4mm [US 6] circular needles 40 inch / 100 cm. (metal needles)
• 4.5 mm [US 7] 40 inch / 100 cm circular needles for the body. (metal needles)

Suggested Yarn 
Sample made in size XS with Wool and the Gang Shiny Happy Cotton (100% Cotton, 142 metres/155 yards, 100g), in the colour Lime Crush. 2 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 4 (5) balls required.or 270 (316) 360 (407) 458 (511) 566 (625) metres / 295 (346) 394 (445) 501 (559) 619 (684) yards of Worsted/Aran weight yarn.
