A light and airy mohair version of the boxy cardigan, worked with larger needles for an airy and breezy feeling. Finished with a collar and buttons down the front.

The Boxy Cardigan Mohair Edition is worked from the top down, beginning with the back neck and shoulder stitches. Once worked down to length, stitches for the back are placed on hold and the front stitches are picked up and worked for each side. Stitches for all pieces are joined with underarm cast ons and worked back and forth until desired length is reached. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, and the collar is picked up and worked back and forth in double stockinette.

Finished Garment Measurement at Bust:

35 (39) 43 (47) 51 (55) 59 (63) inches

89 (99) 109 (119.5) 129.5 (139.5) 150 (160) cm finished bust measurement; The Boxy Cardigan Mohair is intended to be worn with 12.5-18 cm / 5-7 inches of positive ease built in.

Measure yourself before beginning to ensure that you choose the right size. For example: Your bust circumference is 86 cm + 12.5 cm = 98.5 cm [34 + 5 = 39 inches] i.e. work a size S. If you are in between two sizes, I suggest the smaller size, this will still give you a positive ease of 12.5 cm / 5 inches.
