If you are working your sweater the same as the sample, your neck/hem and cuffs will be Colour A and Body/sleeves will be Colour B, and the duplicate stitching will be Colour C.

Begin

With one of your 3mm DPNs, cast on 27 stitches using Colour A and a long tail cast on (or any cast on of your choice).

Turn your needle and slip the end 3 stitches off the needle on the side without the tail or working yarn. You will have a loop at the end. You now have 24 stitches remaining on the needle.

Neck
Now distribute your stitches evenly among 4 DPNs, 6 stitches on each needle. Mark your BOR using a removable marker.

Please note I am not affiliated with Life is Cozy, but please do check out her wonderful patterns!
