The knitted sweater is worked from the top down and in the round. Begin at the neckline in 1x1 rib, then work through the yoke following the colourwork chart. Once the yoke is complete, the sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked in the round from the underarms down to the hem. Each sleeve is then picked up and worked one at a time  and worked in the round.
